Jar, ceramic -Tizon Brown Ware (earthenware); fragmented and reconstructed; fire-altered; coiled and hand built with paddle and anvil technique; low ovoid body shape with a 4.5 inch diameter neck opening; water storage jar; prior repair at unknown time with unknown adhesive; large areas of loss on body and rim; asphaltum coating on top half of exterior and extending down one side to bottom (perhaps waterproofed) and one large thick deposit that protrudes from body of vessel approximately .5cm; pitch patches; white accretions and spotting on exterior; pieces burned after broken; surface scratches on exterior body; some dust and debris inside.
