Pot, ceramic (earthenware); fragmented; coiled and hand built with paddle and anvil technique; low ovoid body shape with a nearly 9 inch diameter mouth and recurved rim; age unknown, could be modern based on exterior coloring; large area of loss with spalling immediately adjacent (to the left); crack emanating up from area of loss to the rim; another small rim crack; long cracks along bottom of pot (one is particularly swollen and wide). Dimensions: Height: 10.5", Width: 11.5", Circumference: 37.5", Mouth diameter: 9", Weight: 7.5 lbs. |
