Bowl, ceramic -Tizon Brown Ware (earthenware); whole; fire-altered; coiled and hand built with paddle and anvil technique; ellipsoid in shape with a recurved rim and flat lip; "cooking pot" per collector's notes; one pair of Native repair holes below rim at neck tied with a thong of leather; crack from rim to hole and then straight down to base of vessel; asphaltum under rim; two areas of rim loss; surfaces scratches. Dimensions: Height: 8.5"; Width: 10.75"; Circumference: 35"; Weight: 4.7 lbs. |
